The Stanley County Buffaloes will get back to playing basketball again as they host the Winner Warriors in a doubleheader tonight at Parkview.
The Buffaloes last played against the Jones County Coyotes as the boys and girls were both swept on Tuesday, Dec. 20. The Lady Buffs will be looking for its first win of the season at 0-3 and face the Warriors who are 0-1 with its only loss to Wagner back on Dec. 9. A 20 day lay off is what Stanley County hopes will be to their advantage taking on the Warriors tonight.
Winner boys are at 1-0 while the Buffaloes are sitting at 1-1. Winner also has not played since Dec. 9 and the Buffs will play a very talented Warrior team who could be experiencing some rust. Max Foth, head coach of the Buffs, says these last couple of weeks have been difficult with the lack of practice and games…
As games pick back up again, Foth says they need to get better every game…
