The Pierre Governor gymnastics team will be on the road as they finally return to action traveling out to Rapid City for a triangular with the Rapid City schools.
The Governors haven’t competed since Dec. 10 when winter weather brought the postponement and cancellations across the state. The Governors were lucky enough to have just one invite canceled, but it does lead for 19 days between competition. Due to the amount of teams participating in the Jill McCormick in Mitchell on Dec. 17, the event was canceled and there will not be a make up date.
In Pierre’s last competition, they placed fifth in the Hub City Invite out of the 15 teams participating. They will face Rapid City Central and Stevens today in Rapid City.
The triangular is scheduled to begin at 11:00 this morning.
