PIERRE — Winter Storm Diaz forced the closure of Pierre Regional Airport on Tuesday, stranding many traveling to Pierre in Denver and other locations. The airlines also have not assisted in lodging during the closure and staying at Denver International was not an option for them…
Winder and company have been passing time by FaceTiming with family and visiting friends in Denver they haven’t seen in over a year. They are hoping to fly back to Pierre Sunday. Pierre Regional opened one runway Saturday morning.
