This weekend the Oahe Capitals will be on the road one final time before a weekend break for Christmas as they take on both Sioux Falls teams on Saturday and Sunday.
The Capitals are 5-1 to begin the season led by the top line of Ashton Griese, Jarron Beck and Barrett Schweitzer who have combined for 34 points and will face Sioux Falls 2 on Saturday, a team sitting at 2-4-0-1 trying to get its footing on the season. The Flyers 2 team has been outscored 26-22 in its seven games.
The Flyers 1 team comes into the weekend undefeated at 5-0. Over its five games, including a win against the Brookings Rangers, they have allowed just three goals. Max Mohr leads the team in goals with six through five games in a very balanced team.
