The Oahe Capitals will be looking for its first win of the season but playing two of the best teams in the state this weekend as the girls will travel to Aberdeen on Friday and then to Sioux Falls on Sunday.
The Caps picked up a point with a tie against Rushmore on Saturday after a 4-2 loss on Friday to Mitchell. These are the final two games before the weekend of New Years where the Caps will play three times. Aberdeen comes in as the only undefeated team left in the state with a 5-0 record. They are the only team to beat Sioux Falls currently who is at 4-1 and picked up a win last Saturday over winless Sioux Center.
Friday’s game is scheduled for an 8:00 start with Sunday’s game at 2:15 in Sioux Falls. Sunday’s game will be on Capital City Rock and on YouTube at Capital City Rock Sports with Jon Winkler on the call.
