PIERRE — The Pierre School Board is meeting tonight at the District’s administration building. As is customary in December, the Board will meet ahead of the regular meeting with the District 24 legislative delegation so that lawmakers can hear concerns about education issues from the Board. The regular meeting begins at 5:30pm. Superintendent Kelly Glodt will make comments followed by any Board members, the public and then a presentation from the Riggs Student Senate. The Board will recognize Troy Wiebe with a District Achievement and will consider the appointment of a board member to the Legislative Action Network. Board members will consider action on a leave of absence proposal; declaring depositories and investments for district funds and details on the construction of an addition at Riggs High School. Also on the agenda are consideration of donations, resignations and contract times. The Pierre School Board will meet with legislators at 4:30 with the regular meeting starting at 5:30pm.
