Governor Gymnastics Finishes Fifth in Hub City Invitational

The Pierre Governor gymnastics team would place fifth on Saturday at the Hub City Invitational with a score of 134.35.

As a team Pierre was just 12 points out of first place as Sioux Falls O’Gorman would finish with a score of 146.15 in first place on the day. Pierre’s Navaeh Karber had the best finish for any Governor as she placed fourth in the uneven bars with an 8.6 while Ryen Sheppick was sixth in the category with an 8.475. Natalie Flottmeyer also had a top ten finish in the vault routine with a 9.05 tied for seventh. Isabel Jirsa would also score a 9.05, but in the balance beam with a sixth place finish. Karber would place seventh with an 8.975.
