After a blow out win on Tuesday, the Sully Buttes Charger girls basketball team will travel to Bowdle tonight to take on the North Central Thunder.
For the Thunder, it’s the opening game of the season after going 6-18 last season and had its season start and end with a loss to the Chargers. Sully Buttes beat North Central in its opening game 63-20 and then came back and beat them again 67-43 in the Region 2B quarterfinal. Now, the Thunder have moved to Class A and play in Region 6 with Stanley County while much of Region 2 in class B are now in Region 6. North Central has just one senior while also bringing in three eighth graders on the varsity roster.
