The Chamberlain Cubs were able to knock off the Stanley County Lady Buffaloes on Tuesday in the opening game of the season as the Cubs would take it 56-33.
Chamberlain would play with a lead throughout the night as the Lady Buffs couldn’t quite catch up as they start the season at 0-1. For the Cubs, they will be looking to go to 2-0 when they travel to face Corsica-Stickney on Thursday in their first road contest.
The Lady Buffaloes will be at home on Thursday and Saturday as they host Miller Thursday and White River on Saturday. The Miller contest will be a girls and boys doubleheader with the girls playing first at 6:30 and the boys the follow.
