PIERRE –The Pierre City Commission is meeting tonight at the Pierre Municipal Building. The future of the drinking water treatment plant could be known tonight. After weeks of waiting and nearly a month after it was supposed to come on-line a water treatment plant announcement will be made in special business. Commissioners will consider a request to purchase a skid steer loader for the street department and an amendment to an airport grant. The Commission will consider a change order on a street paving project and will consider a plat request. Other agenda items include the introduction of a conditional use permit request filed by Morris Incorporated, a contract amendment from Burbach Aquatics for the outdoor pool and first reading of the 2022 budget supplement. The Pierre City Commission meets tonight at 5:30pm. The meeting is open to the community.
