FORT PIERRE — The Fort Pierre City Council is meeting tonight at the South Dakota Municipal League meeting room. The Council will hear reports from city officials before moving on to the main agenda. Introductions and first reading will be given to three ordinances tonight. They include the utility and supplemental budgets and for utility rates. The Council will consider a professional services agreement for next year with an animal clinic and an agreement with Stanley County for use of the grandstand at the fairgrounds for shop space. Council members will consider a resolution regarding bad debt and a liquor license transfer request. Also in the agenda is consideration of a 2022 electrical contractors license and electric, plumbing and dray licenses for 2023. The Fort Pierre City Council meets tonight at 6:30pm.
