In the second meet of the season and second meet in three days, the Pierre Governor gymnastics team would finish in sixth place in Sioux Falls on Saturday.
The Governors scored a 130.25, just five points shy of fifth place for the day. Nevaeh Karber had the best finish for any Governor as she would finish tied for eighth in the bars routine scoring a 8.45. Ryen Sheppick was 10th in the routine at an 8.3. Karber finished right at 10th in All-Around as she scored a total of 33.8, only three points behind the winner of the day, Audrey Meyer of O’Gorman who scored a 36.9.
The Mitchell Kernels would take the team win as they scored a 144.1 while O’Gorman was second at 142.8.
