Oahe Capitals Open Season with Three Game Weekend, Defending State Champions First

The Oahe Capitals boys varsity team is set to begin its season tonight as they host the defending state champions Brookings Rangers and then host Brandon Valley on Saturday and Sunday.

The Capitals have finished in fourth place over the last two season and this year look to be in the mix to be in the top four again and they get an early season measuring stick when they take on the two-time defending state champions in Brookings. The Capitals will host Brookings at 8:00 on Friday and then Brandon Valley at 7:00 Saturday and 3:00 on Sunday. All games will begin with coverage a half hour before puck drop on Capital City Rock and on YouTube at Capital City Rock Sports with Jon Winkler on the call.
