With the Fall Sports season closing and the Winter Sports season beginning, the Pierre wrestling team kicks off its season tonight in the comfort of Riggs High gym as they compete in the wrestle-offs.
Both the boys and girls teams will be wrestling to determine its varsity lineup as the regular season fast approaches. There will be two mats going at once and its your first chance to see the Governors in action.
Wrestle-offs begin at 6:00 at the high school. The Pierre Governor wrestling teams will be in Mandan, North Dakota for its first tournament of the season next weekend, Dec. 2-3.
