FORT PIERRE — The Fort Pierre City Council is meeting tonight at the South Dakota Municipal Building meeting room. The Council will hear reports from city officials before considering approval of the consent calendar. A public hearing will be held on a request to discharge firearms filed by the Dunes Golf Course. Following the public hearing, the Council will consider approval of resolution to issue a firearms discharge license to the Dunes. Council members will consider approval of a bid for the city’s ash tree removal project, a resignation and will discuss the immediate need for additional city shop space. Also on the agenda is a burn permit request filed by Lutheran Memorial Church for the Christmas Eve service at the Stanley County Fairgrounds, salaries and a temporary liquor license filed by the Silver Spur for an event at the Pat Duffy Community Center on December 3rd.
