PIERRE — The Pierre City Commission is meeting tonight at the Pierre Municipal Building. A light agenda greets the Commission tonight. In special business, the Commission will recognize and congratulate the six-item state football championship-winning Pierre Governor Football team. Commissioners will consider approval of a six-item consent calendar. The calendar includes meeting minutes from the November 8th meeting; three human resource items; a raffle request filed by Saint Joseph School and the claims. Only three items of new business make up the bulk of the agenda. Commissioners will discuss 2023 insurance rates, a contract with American Medical Response and a resolution to appoint a City Attorney. Commissioners will close out the meeting by presenting any dialogue they may have. The Pierre City Commission meets tonight at 5:30pm. The meeting is open to the public.
