The Pierre Governors and Yankton Bucks are one step away from the state title game as they meet tonight for the second time this season at Hollister Field.
The Governors picked up a 55-10 win in Week 4 on Homecoming Night and will look to duplicate both the offensive and defensive output again tonight. The Governors have been able to hold off Yankton to one touchdown in each of the last two regular season games dating back to 2021.
The Bucks come in at 6-4 on the season with a 49-14 trouncing of Brookings, but went just 2-4 to finish the season after starting out at 3-0 including dropping four of five before its final win of the season over the Huron Tigers.
