Tonight the Stanley County Lady Buffalo volleyball team will be looking for an upset to send them into the SoDak 16 as they travel to face the second seeded Mobridge-Pollock Tigers.
The Lady Buffs had a four set win over Cheyenne-Eagle Butte in the first round of the playoffs on Tuesday as Mobridge-Pollock was a three set winner over McLaughlin. The two teams met in Stanley County earlier in the year at the Big Dakota Conference Tournament as the Tigers were able to sweep the Lady Buffs in two sets 25-11 and 25-15. Mobridge-Pollock comes in at 25-6 but have dropped two of its last five matches including a loss to the Warner Monarchs.
First serve is scheduled for 7:00 tonight in Mobridge. The winner will advance to the Class A SoDak 16 on Tuesday.
