The Stanley County Lady Buffaloes will be at home tonight as they open up the Region 6A tournament as the three seed and will host Cheyenne-Eagle Butte.
The Lady Buffs are 13-12 on the season and picked up the three seed in the region tournament and this year will get to host the first round matchup instead of playing at neutral site like it was last season. Stanley County and Cheyenne-Eagle Butte played earlier in the season with the Lady Buffs sweeping the Braves back on October 8 with scores of 25-12, 25-16 and 25-22. Grace Sargent, Cadence Hand and Kori Gabriel each have over 100 kills to lead the Lady Buffs while Olivia Chase surpassed 400 assists on the season heading into the playoffs. Cheyenne-Eagle Butte is 6-19 and have lost six of the last seven entering the playoffs with its only win in the frame coming against Standing Rock, North Dakota.
First serve is scheduled for 7:00 tonight from the Parkview Auditorium in Ft. Pierre.
