PIERRE — The Pierre City Commission is meeting tonight at the Pierre Municipal Building The meeting will start with two items of special business with V-F-W Poppy Days and a proclamation for Rawlins Municipal Library’s 50th Anniversary. Commissioners will consider a brief consent calendar before moving on to a public hearing in unfinished business at 5:45pm. The public hearing is for the lease of a hangar at Pierre Regional Airport. A street closure request will come before Commissioners for the Parade of Lights on November 21st and two projects will be closed out. They include the reconstruction of Airport Road and Highland Avenue. An addendum to the construction administration contract with Brosz Engineering on the Highland Avenue project is also on the agenda. Commissioners will consider a grant pre-application package for Pierre Regional Airport and a bike trail design for the Health Improvement Innovation grant award. The Pierre City Commission meets tonight at 5:30pm.
