Pierre hit the magic number of 10-thousand enplanements in August. The best month for enplanements so far this year was July with 1687. Ironically, enplanements in June were also 1,508. Pierre is averaging for the year 1,320 enplanements per month. Watertown Regional Airport was below Pierre for the second time this year. October enplanements at Watertown were 1012 or 496 fewer than Pierre. Of that, 562 were to Denver and 450 to Chicago. Last month Pierre for the year was 32 enplanments behind Watertown. Pierre passed Watertown for yearly enplanements as Watertown is just under 13-thousand for 2022.
