Oahe Capitals Closing in on 2022 Capitalize on the Future Goal

With just two months remaining in the year, the Oahe Capitals had a goal of raising $350,000 for the Capitalize on the Future Campaign. They are now $15,000 short of making the goal happen.

The campaign is to help restructure the PAYSA ice rink and to make it game ready to host as well as include maintenance which is long overdue. While the projects began over the summer and the ice was taken out and replaced, there’s still the cost to reach and projects to finish. Nick Marso, President of the Capitalize on the Future Campaign, says they’ve made a lot of progress at PAYSA in 2022…

They set the goal in May for 2022 to get the $350,000 and he’s confident they will reach the goal for the year…

Now as they start to look at 2023, Marso says there may not be improvements at PAYSA because of the volunteer hours and those families will now be helping to function the Oahe hockey season…

Marso says this project is more than just improvements…
