The Pierre Governors would defeat the Brookings Bobcats on Tuesday on the road in four sets with scores of 25-16, 25-16, 17-25 and 25-18.
The Governors improve to 15-4 on the season with the win. Pierre received 10 kills from Ayvrie Kaiser and nine from Lily Sanchez. Pierre had nine aces in the match with three each from Remington Price and Sanchez. However, the Governors struggled in the second set with serves as they had five of their 10 errors in the second. Then in the third, Pierre struggled to serve receive allowing Sydney Bebensee to have three of her six aces on the night come in the third set. Pierre trailed 17-7 before trying to make a run in the third set, but would come up short and be forced to take the match in four sets.
