PIERRE — The Pierre City Commission is meeting tonight at the Pierre Municipal Building. A lighter agenda will greet Commissioners this evening. The agenda starts in special business with a presentation on the Oahe Zap, Pierre’s new collegiate baseball team that will call Hyde Stadium home in 2023. Commissioners will consider approval of a seven-item consent calendar. The calendar includes minutes from the October 18th meeting, the addition of a new depository, four human resource/personnel items and the claims. There is one item of unfinished business, as Commissioners will consider bid results for single phase power transformers. In new business, Commissioners will hear utility rate study proposals for utility rates and will consider a memorandum of understanding with the developer of the city hall site property. The Pierre City Commission meets tonight at 5:30 pm.
