The Stanley County Lady Buffaloes will finish the regular season at 13-12 with a split at the Kadoka Area Triangular on Tuesday, falling to Kadoka but beating New Underwood.
The Kougars would sweep the Lady Buffs in the first match of the night with scores of 25-14, 25-20 and 25-9, but the Lady Buffs would respond in the next match against New Underwood with a five set victory. Stanley County would win sets two and three and fall in sets one and four as they battled in the fifth set to a 15-13 victory to finish the regular season one game over .500 at 13-12. Stanley County will have to await its opponent in the first round of the region tournament, but as it sits, Cheyenne-Eagle Butte would be the team to come to Ft. Pierre.
Brackets will be available once the regular season is completed. Stanley County does have the three seed locked up to host a first round matchup.
