It’s the annual Dig Pink Night as the Pierre Governors host the Yankton Gazelles looking for its 12th win of the season in its second to final home game of the year.
The Governors dropped its latest match on Tuesday in a close sweep of Harrisburg as they fell to 11-4 on the season will have the opportunity to knockoff Yankton who is at 3-13 and fighting for a spot to make the SoDak 16. The Gazelles dropped its last match 3-1 to Brandon Valley last week Thursday and overall have dropped four of its last five. Yankton is currently on the outside looking in as they sit in 17th place in the AA standings needing several wins down the stretch to get into the playoffs. Pierre is trying to keep pace in the top five of the standings as they fell to sixth after Tuesday’s loss but have just one top five matchup left on the schedule.
