PIERRE — The Pierre City Commission has a very short agenda before them for their meeting tonight at the Pierre Municipal Building. In fact the consent calendar is six times larger than the main agenda and it gets approved with one full motion. The calendar includes minutes from the October 4th meeting, the claims, three raffle requests and a new hire for the airport. The raffle requests come from the Red Knights International Motorcycle Club, South Dakota Visitor Industry Alliance and Pierre/Fort Pierre Pheasants Forever. There is an item each of unfinished and new business. Commissioners will hold a public hearing at 5:45pm for a temporary malt beverage license for Capital City Liquor at Dakota Spirits Distillery on October 14th and a request to purchase a Kubota Skid Steer for the landfill. Commissioners will end the meeting by presenting any dialogue they may have. The Pierre City Commission meets tonight at 5:30pm.
