The Stanley County Lady Buffaloes would take a five set match over the Colome Cowgirls on Thursday night at home winning 21-25, 25-17, 25-21, 18-25 and 15-8.
After a first set loss, the Lady Buffs controlled the second and third sets out of the gates and had to hold on for a four point third set win. However, Colome didn’t go away with a fourth set win to force the fifth and deciding set. In the fifth game the Lady Buffs jumped out to an early lead and would nearly double the score in the 15-8 win to claim the match and push the record to 9-10 on the season.
Stanley County will be at home on Saturday as they host a triangular against Cheyenne/Eagle Butte and Todd County. The first match is scheduled for 1:00 at Parkview Auditorium.
