The Stanley County Lady Buffaloes continue its busy week at home as they host the Colome Cowgirls tonight in volleyball action as Stanley County tries to pull back closer to .500.
The Lady Buffs have hit a rough patch having lost now eight of the last 12 contests and have dropped to 8-10 on the season. Even with the struggles, the Lady Buffs remain in third place in the Region 6A standings and in a solid spot to host a first round matchup in the region tournament. However, the Cowgirls have had it worse as of late with seven losses in its last eight contests. The Cowgirls come in at 6-13 and its last win came at the Wessington Springs tournament back on September 24.
Stanley County will host a triangular with Cheyenne-Eagle Butte and Todd County on Saturday. After the week concludes the Lady Buffs will have just four matches remaining before the end of the season.
First serve tonight is scheduled for around 7:30 at the Parkview Auditorium.
