If this winter ends up 10-percent colder than average, the heating season could cost 200-dollars or 40 dollars per month. If it’s 10-percent warmer, that could translate into an average of 80-dollars over the season or 16 dollars a month. Underground storage of natural gas is around nine-percent lower than the five-year average.
