The Pierre Governor tennis team would wind up with four of the nine flights winning state championships and the team dominating its way to the state title.
Kara Weiss in flight two and Jocelyn Corrales in flight four each would win their respective championships, both doing so out of the top seed. Corrales and Weiss would each win a championship again as Weiss and Sydney Tedrow teamed up as the top seed to win the doubles flight one championship. Corrales was with Caitlin Ott to win the doubles flight three championship and had to upset the number two seed in the semifinals and the top seed in the championship to claim the title. Tedrow in singles flight one placed second, Marlee Shorter in flight three placed third, Kourtney Walti in flight five also placed third and Caitlin Ott was defeated in the championship in flight six placing second. The team of Shorter and Walti took third place in doubles flight two.
