It needed extra points in the fifth set, but it was the Lyman Raiders who came away with a win over Stanley County at home with scores of 24-26, 25-19, 27-25, 14-25 and 18-16.
Three of the five sets went longer as both teams couldn’t find any real separation outside of the fourth set win for the Lady Buffaloes. The Raiders picked up its fifth win of the season as they are now 5-10 after starting out 1-7. Stanley County drops to 8-11 and have dropped two of the last three regular season contests.
Stanley County will host Colome on Thursday. First serve is scheduled for around 7:45 from Parkview Auditorium.
