The Pierre Governor tennis team is on a roll as they head into the final day of the tennis state tournament with all nine flights in the state semifinals and on top of the team title standings.
All nine flights received a bye in the first round and then all nine flights went out and dominated the quarterfinal matches. Nobody played more than two matches on the day. In the singles flights the Governors beat their opponents by a combined 72-10. Pierre has a 29 point lead with a perfect 300 on day one. Rapid City Christian is at 271 in second and St. Thomas More in third with a 252. Megan Bauck, head coach of the Pierre tennis team says, they all played really great…
