The Pierre Governors were able to pick up its 10th win of the season on Saturday with a three set sweep of Brandon Valley, 25-16, 27-25 and 25-22.
Ayvrie Kaiser had another big day at the net having a match high 15 kills as Reese Terwilliger picked up huge blocks and key points throughout the first two sets as she finished with nine kills and an ace. The Governors took the lead at 4-3 in the first set and never trailed and then had to come back from a 7-2 deficit in the second set to win 27-25 and then hold off the Lynx in the third set so there wasn’t a comeback from the Lynx. Lily Sanchez finished with eight kills and Campbell Boddicker had six. Pierre did finish with 13 service errors and just four aces.
The Governors will face Huron on Tuesday at home. First serve is at 7:00 from Riggs High School.
