Timber Lake Squeaks Out Overtime Win over Stanley County

The Stanley County Buffaloes were able to hang tough with a solid Timber Lake squad and it would take overtime, but the Panthers would win 22-20.

The Buffaloes defense stood tall allowing just 14 points through regulation and kept a Panther team guessing all night as the Buffs looked to pick up their third win of the year and get to .500. The offense were able to make the comeback down 14-6 to force overtime on the road. The difference was the two point conversion made by the Panthers to pick up the win as they move to 5-2. Stanley County falls to 2-4, but the young team has a lot of positives to take with them in the loss.

Stanley County will travel to Lemmon on Friday to face Lemmon/McIntosh in its final road game of the season. Kickoff is at 7:00 Central time from Lemmon Lions Field.
