Stanley County Travels to Timber Lake to Face Tough Panthers

The Stanley County football team will be up at Timber Lake tonight as they take on the 4-2 Panthers who are coming off a loss last week to Faith. The Buffaloes are 2-3 after its win over White River.

Timber Lake dropped a six point game to Faith last Friday, 20-14 and ended its three game winning streak. It’s been a tale of two different stories for the Panthers. In its two losses, they dropped both to a 5-0 Herreid/Selby Area team and a 5-1 Faith team. In it’s four wins, the opponents have combined for four wins including two winless teams.

The same can be said for Stanley County as the Buffaloes have scored an average of 42.5 points in its two wins but only about seven points in its three losses. Stanley County’s second half both offensively and defensively were the best half the Buffs have played in 2022. Max Foth, head coach of Stanley County says he hopes the strength of the early part of the schedule will pay dividends starting tonight…

Foth says they want the confidence to continue to build like it’s shown in the two wins…

Foth says they need to take care of the football…

Kickoff from Doug Kraft Field is scheduled for 7:00 Central time tonight.
