Over the past weekend, Sully Buttes alum Katelynn Lamb Pottorff was inducted into the Black Hills State Hall of Fame during her time dominating on the basketball court.
During her time at Black Hills State, Pottorff was a two-time All American in both 2009-2010 and 2010-2011 and was also honorable mention in the 2008-2009 season. Pottorff is the second all-time leading scorer at Black Hills State with 1,711 points. She was a three-time first team all-conference performer. Pottorff holds the single season record for free throws made with 138 and third all-time for field goals made in a season with 214. Not only did she dominate on the court in basketball but she was also First Team All-Conference in golf her sophomore year and a two-time NAIA Scholar Athlete. Pottorff was inducted into Sully Buttes Hall of Fame in February and she says it wasn’t much longer before she was notified of her second Hall of Fame induction…
