Both the Sully Buttes Chargers and Potter County Battlers went 1-2 in the Central South Dakota Conference Tournament over the weekend and tonight the two teams meet up in Gettysburg.
While the rivalry match already makes it a big time matchup, both teams don’t want to lose any positioning in the Region 6B standings. The Battlers are in second place at 8-6 trailing only Herreid/Selby Area. The Chargers are at 9-8 and need to tally wins down the stretch as they trail the Ipswich Tigers for fourth place and a home playoff matchup by 0.8 points. Sully Buttes has two big games also hosting Phillip on Thursday.
