PIERRE — The Pierre City Commission is meeting one last time in September tonight. Commissioners will consider approval of a six-item consent calendar before moving into new business. The Commission will consider a request by the South Dakota Discovery Center to have alcohol for the Best for Last event and will hear about the upcoming fall edition of Seasoned Citizens programming. Commissioners will consider approval of a memorandum of understanding with the Pierre Swim Team and will accept the donation of five scoreboards for the softball fields from BankWest. Other agenda items include a change order on the 2022 street paving project; a request to bid for Fire Engine number Two and an agreement with D-G-R Engineering for preliminary design of the electric distribution improvement project. The Pierre City Commission meets tonight at the Pierre Municipal Building at 5:30pm.
