Governors Remain Unbeaten with Win in Watertown

For the first time all season the Pierre Governors trailed in game but the Govs would end up with a route of the Watertown Arrows 47-13 to improve to 5-0 on the season.

The Arrows would take the opening drive 74 yards as Alex Kahre hit Drew Denzer with a 24 yard pass to put the Arrows up 6-0 and put the Governor offense behind for the first time all year. Pierre would turn the ball over downs on its first possession, but did not fail to score on any possession the reminder of the half. Lincoln Kienholz would throw for 296 yards on the night and four touchdown passes. Jett Zabel and Cade Kaiser each had two touchdown grabs and both had over 100 yards receiving on the night. Kienholz also ran for 134 yards and three scores. The Governors recorded 579 total yards in the contest.

Juven Hudson would rush for 119 yards and had a 74 yard score to make it 13-13 in the second quarter. However, the Governor defense shut down the Arrow offense after the big play. Pierre allowed a total of 194 yards in the game but only 14 yards the entire second half in the win. Watertown drops to 1-4 on the year.
