Chargers Roll in Three Sets, Down Sunshine Bible Academy

Using crisp passing, solid net play, and consistent serving, the Sully Buttes Charger volleyball team improved to 8-6 with a 25-12, 25-10, 25-14 victory over Sunshine Bible Academy Thursday night in Onida.

The Chargers came out strong, and had numerous service points against the Crusaders, and attacked from all three positions up front to help them take the match. Setting by Stevie Wittler and Calleigh Chicoine helped the Charger hitters Lydia Hill, Allyson Wittler, Trichelle White and Saige Heath finish points. Hill finished with nine kills, while Ally Wittler added eight.

Next up for the Chargers is the Central South Dakota Conference Tournament Saturday in Wolsey, and next week two big matches against Potter County and Philip.

The Crusaders record slips to 2-9, and will also be at the CSDC Tournament this weekend.
