Stanley County Finishes 2-1 in BDC Tournament

The Stanley County Lady Buffaloes would win its two pool play matches but fall the Miller Rustlers in bracket play as the Lady Buffs go 2-1 overall in the tournament to get back to .500.

The Lady Buffs were able to pick up sweeps of both McLaughlin and Chamberlain to go 2-0 in its pool. It’s the second time Stanley County has knocked off the Chamberlain Cubs this season. It was the Miller Rustlers though who would beat the Buffs in bracket play with a two set sweep. Stanley County would hang tough in the first set falling just 25-21 but it was a 25-11 win in the second set for the Rustlers to take the match. Miller would win the tournament defeating Mobridge-Pollock finishing the day at 4-0.

The Lady Buffs are now at 7-7 on the season and will take on Class B opponent Potter County on Thursday at home. First serve is scheduled for around 7:30.
