Around 100 took part in the Walk of Hope that traveled around the Governor’s Residence, Capitol Lake and the Capitol complex before returning to Hyde Stadium where dove-shaped balloons were released. A member of the South Dakota National Guard led around 20 in attendance in doing 22 push-ups in honor of the 22 military veterans lost to suicide every day.
