Sully Buttes Falls in Four Sets to Ipswich

The Sully Buttes Charger volleyball team kept it close all night long, but-in the end-it was Ipswich that got the best of the match, with a 24-26, 25-15, 25-16 and 25-20 victory Tuesday night in Ipswich.

The Chargers kept rallying all night long, but it was the Tigers who would take advantage of mis-hits and unforced errors that enabled Ipswich to claim their fourth victory of the season, against one loss.

The Chargers’ record falls to 2-5, and now travel to Philip Saturday for a tournament.

Lydia Hill led all hitters, as she finished the night with 19 kills, and Saige Heath and Allyson Wittler each added four. Ipswich was led by senior Gracie Lange, who finished with 11 kills. The Tigers now have a contest at Sunshine Bible Academy Thursday against the winless Crusaders.
