The Pierre Governor Cheer and Dance team would travel to Watertown on Tuesday. The Governor cheer team would take home 11th place while the dance team would finish in seventh.
The Governor cheer team finished with a score of 187 just eight points out of finishing inside the top ten. The Governor dance team finished in fourth place in the hip-hop division and sixth in the pom division and were behind by only a point for a sixth place overall finish. Harrisburg was the grand champion in the cheer competition and Brandon Valley would be the grand champion of the dance competition.
Pierre will be at home on Saturday to host its invite of the season. 14 teams will be at Riggs High School for an 11:00 AM start time on Saturday.
