The Pierre Cross Country team will be at Steamboat Park for its annual home invite as they open the season with seven teams in town on Friday.
The meet is scheduled to be run in the morning with a 10:00 AM start time. The Stanley County Buffaloes and Potter County Battlers will both be in attendance for the first meet of the season. The Governors historically have had great showings in its home invite.
The varsity will run first with JV and middle school to follow at Steamboat Park in Pierre starting at 10:00 AM.
