Saturday morning, the Pierre Governor Cheer and Dance team will begin its season as they travel to Aberdeen for the Hub City Invitational as 17 teams will gather in the opening contest.
This year’s Governor dance team has five seniors: Alexandria Childs, Ashlyn Gourneau, Karly Harris, Ashley Humphrey and Hattie Larson. The cheer team has seven seniors this year: Alexis Dilges, Emma Hall, Ryleigh Harmon, Emma Hunt, Raileyn Myers, Madison Oedekoven and Taya Rattling Leaf.
The day begins at 10:00 at Aberdeen Central High School.
