The Pierre Governors are in Rapid City this weekend for a Friday and Saturday tournament, but the team will compete in its seventh dual of the season as they take on Brandon Valley Thursday.
The Governors are 5-1 in duals to begin the season and have 2-0 in Class A opponents and 3-1 in Class AA opponents. Thursday afternoon its another Class AA opponent. The Govs will then turn around and play in the Rapid City Invite tournament as nine teams will be in Rapid to participate.
The Governors face Brandon Valley at 3:00 Central time today and the tournament is scheduled to begin at 11:00 AM Central Time on Friday with Saturday’s beginning at 9:00 AM.
