The Sully Buttes Charger volleyball team begins its season tonight as they host the always tough Jones County Coyotes in a Class B showdown.
The Chargers last season went just 9-21 on the year going 1-1 in the Region tournament, but return all but just one player after Tailynn Bradford graduated last spring. Sully Buttes will look to build off the veteran status heading into the season.
The Coyotes fell in the SoDak 16 qualifier to the Phillip Lady Scotties last season going 17-8 and just unable to get out of one of the toughest Regions in Class B. The Coyotes graduated just three seniors from last year’s team.
