The resolution passed with a unanimous vote. The next step in the project is a public hearing on August 30th to consider vacating the 300 block of South Chapelle Street. Site prep is likely to begin this fall with demolition of building on the site with construction to get underway in 2023. The site, as planned, will host an 80-room hotel, 60-unit apartment and office and retail space along with street parking.
